Remote 5 Acres with Creek and Building
DESCRIPTION
Do you enjoy sitting beside a babbling brook in the middle of nowhere? This might just be the place for you! I can’t guarantee the creek flows year around but every time I’ve been there, there has been a little water in it. There is also an old office trailer that was left on the property by the previous owners. They said I could have it and I don’t want to move it so it goes with the property.
There is only one access road to get to this property and it goes over a one lane bridge over Hurricane Creek. When the creek floods, you can’t get in or out (there are pictures below of Hurricane Creek at normal levels during the time I was out there). There are NO utilities to this property. There is NO cell phone service (although I made a call by going to the top of the hill about 1000 feet away). The land has a lot of cedar trees and glade rock which indicates poor soil.
Some of the things I’ve mentioned above may be seen as negative unless your looking for a spot in the middle of nowhere to disappear to and get away. The property may sound uninhabitable but there is in fact people living in this area on the same road not to far from this property. I met them while taking the pictures and videos. Very nice folks by the way! So take a look at this listing and if you think this fits your needs, give me a call and we can work out the details. My personal cell phone number is 870-955-0099.
